Residents express their vision for a sustainable world in diverse ways, from efforts as basic as water harvesting, composting, and organic gardening, to more complex technologies like solar collection and electric cars. In 2012, our former car-sharing group conducted an experiment that implemented some carbon-reducing strategies, including collectively leasing and operating an electric car.
