Hmmm. Where to begin.
Detassled corn, babysat for 25 cents an hour, and during high school worked as a telephone operator for Ma Bell. Number please?
Jumped really high and cheered for the Trojans, was respectful at my induction into the National Honor Society (felt proud about that one). Business manager and columnist for The AHS Gazette. Greatest achievement: getting thrown off the paper after publishing my “Sluttiest Girl” series.
Graduated and started doing stuff. Did more stuff and accumulated more stuff. And did some stuff for which I’d like a do-over.
Eventually, serendipity led me to Santa Fe and I became hooked. Where had this beautiful state and its gentle people been all my life?!!!
Heard about cohousing, researched it, and found Sand River. Perfect.
Love living here and love my neighbors (well, most of them anyway). I’m joking!
PS. I easily meet the minimum age requirement to live here. But I have to say, it’s rock and roll every day.
And the beat goes on.
